When visitors are scheduled ahead of time they should be directed first to the office if the office is open when they come. The person who made the arrangement should contact a member of the committee in good time so that someone is available to conduct a tour and answer questions. The one conducting the tour should arrange for at least one home to be available for entering.
When visitors show up unannounced in the community and they indicate a desire for information, they should be referred to a member of the committee. That person will determine whether to offer a tour and whether to refer the visitor to the office.
